The Odd Taxi audio drama is a podcast series following Satoshi Nagashima. The audio drama episodes are released weekly on YouTube, alongside each Odd Taxi episode.
Synopsis[]
As a hobby, high school student Satoshi Nagashima uses a specialized radio receiver to listen in on live concerts for free. One day, his receiver stumbles across the frequency of what appears to be a wiretapped device. He begins broadcasting the conversations weekly.
The Lucky Ballpoint Pen Chronology[]
Throughout the anime, a colorful, distinctly shaped ballpoint pen has been seen in the possession of various characters, and from the audio drama recordings it can be deduced that this "lucky" pen is in fact bugged.
The pen is also featured in the (non-canonical) ODDTAXI opening song music video.
There might be a difference in the order of the podcast, and the order of the recordings. The first number of the episode refers to the podcast order in which Nagashima releases them. However, the second number is speculated to be referring to the period in which the recording was made. This period start and end point are defined by the first and the second number respectively. For example, audio drama episode 4.6 would take place somewhere between episode 4 and episode 6. For the full chronology of every event across all Odd Taxi media, refer to the reconstructed timeline.
Note: this section refers to the recording chronology, and not the podcast order.

- ↑ There has been some discussion on when exactly Audio Drama 4.6 happened. Initially, it was thought that 4.6 would have happened before the pen was given to Yamamoto in episode 5. Arguments for this choice: after the incident at the White Dolphin, Odokawa wouldn't have been in the right mindset for Audio Drama 4.6. Alternatively, Audio Drama 4.6 could have happened right before 5.6. Arguments for this choice: Nagashima's statement in 4.6 that the pen was left behind by someone in the taxi, which probably refers to Imai, and not Gouriki, and the Audio Drama numbering would fit better chronologically. This has been confirmed in the official guide book.
